Special: A Customized Survey + Focus Groups
Focus groups are an excellent complementary tool to a customized survey. Here are a couple of reasons for this. Surveys tend to address “what” and “where” questions well but not “how” questions so much. Focus groups, however, are an excellent tool to provide insight into “how” to address deficiencies identified in surveys. Also, with focus groups you are not looking for a representative, randomly selected sample. What you need are clients (members) who are quite conversant with the issue(s) you are addressing. When they come up with solutions, then you can share the solutions with all your clients (members) for more feedback, which of course supports buy-in for whatever final solutions you come up with. Additionally, by soliciting clients’ (members’) help to improve services, you earn more of their loyalty and commitment!
Super Special: A Customized Survey + Focus Groups + Tailored Communications
To spur and sustain growth, it is vitally important that your clients (members) observe what you are doing to address their needs identified in your surveys. It is paramount, therefore, that you regularly inform your clients (members) about your progress in meeting their needs. We have developed a format to communicate your progress to your clients (members) which we have found to be most effective. For a year (or longer if you choose) we will write and/or show you how to communicate your progress most effectively to achieve growth. In our opinion, a most effective marketing strategy to spur growth is to create advocates among your clients (members) for the services you offer. Contented clients (members) are the most credible advocates for the services you provide!
